We had the chance to work with “Kongo” (collaborations with Richard Mille, Hermès, Chanel) on the creation of a limited series of 30 silkscreen linen T-shirts. These pieces will be sold in a wooden box painted by the artist.

We invite you to meet us during the opening of the exhibition which will take place on October 17 at 6pm in the Parisian boutique Montaigne Market.

Since its creation the Anders Arens brand has had the ambition to create high quality clothing items for everyday wear based on traditional French know how. To make our creations known beyond our borders we made the choice to have them distributed in a selection of exclusive, high-end niche boutiques around the world.

This has been for us a wonderful opportunity to make unexpected encounters and to discover some incredible places. We are also confronted with new ideas as well as different requirements and viewpoints. This challenging experience can also be a source of inspiration for our new creations.

We would like to share with you our most beautiful discoveries and we open today our Travel Notebook “Discovering the most beautiful stores in the world”. This article is the first in a series that will take you to all corners of the world. We hope you enjoy it.

Before presenting our first favorite, we asked ourselves the question: how can you say that a store is the most beautiful in the world?

Beauty is subjective of course but there are some recurring elements in all these high-end boutiques: a critical selection of big names in fashion, the concern to offer very high-quality pieces, prestigious addresses, premium quality service…

But beyond that, at Anders Arens, we had the wish to find stores that really make the difference. Those that leave an enduring impression on your mind, that have an unmistakable identity and take you into their own universe; in a word, stores which are no longer only stores but something more.

In the closed world of fashion and its buyers, names circulate, and of course the A'maree's store in Newport Beach is a reference. The reference.
We then made the trip to California to meet the three sisters (Denise Schaefer, Apryl Schaefer and Dawn Klohs) and their mother (Nancy Brown), the founder of the store, and we were able to experience at first hand the A'maree's store.

Upon arrival you are amazed by the building that houses the store. Built in 1960 it is one of the iconic buildings in Newport Beach. A monumental architectural piece, it overlooks the water and offers to the view incredible volumes.
You then go inside, discovering the treasures that are carefully selected by Dawn and her sisters. Top creators, independent designers, small confidential productions, you are captivated by the mixture of elegance and sobriety that naturally emanates from the exhibited pieces. They have thought of everyone, men, women, lovers of art and design pieces, those who want to dress their interior ... always proposing a unique and timeless style.

The spaces have been thought out and designed in order to highlight the collections and to lead the visitor to wander around. The noble, luminous, natural and refined materials used for the interior architecture help to fill the store with radiant solar energy. Just like the smiles of Dawn, April and Denise welcome everyone, customers, young designers, big houses, as if we had arrived at home and found a haven of peace and comfort.
Throughout the store you come upon dedicated spaces, quiet, cozy corners enticing you to stroll, to dream, to read or to have a drink, with always breathtaking views of the sea and of the horizon.

The visit to the A'maree's store and the warm welcome that the sisters gave us has been a unique experience that will long remain engraved in our memories. So today, at this stage, we can say that, yes indeed, it is the most beautiful store in the world! During our visit the sisters were attracted by the authenticity and values of the Anders Arens brand. They currently offer in their store the key pieces of our fall-winter 2018-2019 collection. We are very grateful for their commitment to our side and we are proud that a young brand illustrating French craftsmanship has found its place in this extraordinary boutique of Newport Beach.
